The Gradation Series is a limited collection of works which I painted for the individuals who assisted and shared in our wedding.

Each painting represents the person to whom we gave it, unique and varied.  The theme of the series is as the title suggests:  "Gradation: 'A series forming successive stages' or 'An advance by regular degrees'".  When I decided to paint this series, I felt that the paintings needed to represent our relationship which has led us to marriage, that being a progressive movement of togetherness which is born out of love and commitment.
